About

Seen in the street is written by Marie Pattison. Marie was half of The Manchester Zedders and doesn’t want to give up exploring, blogging and taking photos. Tell her if you like what she does, she likes the feedback.

Most of Marie’s time is taken up by her job, she works for a charity as a volunteer co-ordinator which is never dull and sometimes hectic, rewarding, frustrating and amazing. She works in a building which she is reliably informed hosts the oldest working lift in Manchester.

She also knits, reads a lot, watches dorky history documentaries on iplayer (while knitting) and goes exploring.

Based in Manchester, most of her exploring happens in that fair city, but as her job takes her regularly to Birmingham and less regularly to Liverpool she reserves the right to explore there too. And anywhere else she happens to be. The accent is from the North East of England, where the world’s finest city nestles in the loop of the river Wear.
